The latest military trend can be seen in the oft maligned jegging market, where camouflage prints are becoming popular, having been worn by Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue.
The problem with camouflage clothing is that it has often been associated with people of a certain type. The type that makes one feel uncomfortable in confined spaces. But we can reclaim the camouflage print for fashion! We can return some dignity to the concept of strutting about safe city streets whilst dressed as if Armageddon is about to start any moment.
The fact that this trend is being associated with jeggings complicates the matter further, after all, jeggings seem to be a sly way to get around the 'tights are not to be worn as pants' rule that has been strictly enforced by fashion police in recent months.

Fashion experts recommend that people with short legs avoid camouflage patterns however, as they tend to shrink one visually in the eyes of others and make one's posterior and thighs look large. Also, fashion experts neglect to take into account that Kylie Minogue is around 2'4 and looks great in a pair of camouflage jeggings. Maybe its time we discarded the fashion experts and just did whatever we wanted to do and wore whatever we wanted to wear.
