Free Sims 3 World Map Downloads

This is another series featuring work from the talented modders and designers who do their business over at Custom Sims. The Sims 3 world builder tool is pretty serious business, and though it may not be entirely intuitive to use, and perhaps more of a pain in the butt than it is worth for lazier gamers, there are those among the ranks of Sims 3 players who have taken up the challenge and created some truly amazing mini worlds that you can download for free.

Liberty Bay is a prime example of how much can be done with the World Builder tool. There is a tendency for some worlds made with the world builder to be overly simplistic and somehow stilted looking, but Liberty Bay is good enough to be one of the professionally designed worlds.

It features 30 residential lots for you to populate, along with all the standard Sims 3 rabbit holes we have come to know and love, which add up to 60 lots in total, plenty to explore. (Why can you go into the gym, but not the restaurant? We will never know.) For players who like to collect and fish, the map features all standard spawn points as well as fresh and saltwater fishing spots.

This beautiful but small world will add interest to your Sims 3 playing experience, and perhaps even encourage you to get building your own worlds!

A Sims 3 world with a history, the tale of Saskan Harbor begins, 'First settled in 1887 by wealthy timber merchant Samuel Drummond, this Pacific Northwest island town grew from humble beginnings in the 1890`s into a thriving safe harbour for the logging industry and then during the early years of the twentieth century into a sought after holiday retreat. Saskan Harbor is a beautiful Sims 3 world with a real point of difference. Unlike all the professionally created Sims 3 maps, Saskan Harbor is a purely coastal town, which affects the feel of the game quite dramatically and creates a relaxed, sea side ambiance.

Saskan Harbor features 60 residential lots, half of which can be built upon by the player, which gives you the opportunity to truly mold the map as you see fit. Though the peaks that surround the town are largely unclimbable, there is one secret peak that you may scale if your sims are up for climbing exploration.

A beautiful map that makes playing a new game of the Sims 3 a truly fresh experience.
