The subject of men wearing lingerie can be a fun one, and it is often when men embrace this side of themselves and decide to quit worrying about what the rest of the world thinks about what they are wearing, that they have the most fun with their lingerie obsession. Many of these articles are written for those men who have embraced the lacy side of themselves and are enjoying it to the fullest. But I am well aware that for every man who gleefully wears women's lingerie there are undoubtedly many more who languish in guilt over their desire to don a pair of panties, a bra, or other items of women's lingerie.
Social morays are powerful forces indeed, and sometimes just the thought of what people might think or say alone will prevent a man from slipping into some lacy lingerie even in the privacy of his own home, behind a locked door, hiding in the corner of the room behind the closet. For religious men, the fear may be even more deep seated, they may fear that not only is wearing women's lingerie socially unacceptable, but it is also an offense that will see them spending eternity in a fiery pit.
This article will focus on the Christian attitudes to women's lingerie for several reason, two of them are the fact that Christianity is one of the major world religions, and that there is a particularly troubleseome passage in the Bible, Deuteronomy 22:5, which is often used to frighten and condemn men who wish to wear women's attire.
The passage goes thus:
"The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God."
Looks pretty cut and dried, huh? Perhaps that is all the evidence some people might need to state that men should never ever, under any circumstances, wear any item of women's lingerie. Of course, with a glibness that defies belief, the very same people who make these claims will often have no issue with women wearing jeans or slacks, which for a very long time were considered to be men's clothing, but lets put that double standard aside for a moment, and focus on the scripture.
In order to truly assess this passage, I think it is important to examine it in a wider context, say, against the background of the rest of the book of Deuteronomy. Let's examine a few other passages from Deuteronomy which tell believers how to live their lives.
Here's an excerpt from Deuteronomy that teaches believers about accepting other religions, and fostering religious tolerance in their families.
Deuteronomy 13:6-9
'If your brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife tries to secretly entice you, telling you to go and worship other gods, gods of people living near you, or far from you, or anywhere on earth, do not listen to him.You must kill them. Show them no pity. And your hand must strike the first blow.'
Deuteronomy also cheerfully instructs parents to bring disobedient children before town elders to be stoned to death in a charming passage which goes thus:
Deuteronomy 21:18 - 21
'If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not listen to the voice of his father or his mother even when they punish him, his father and mother must take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard." All the men of the town must then stone him to death. You must banish this evil from among you."
Conclusion
Is it a sin to wear women's lingerie? It depends on your personal interpretation of the scripture which underpins your faith. Of course not I, nor any other person can tell you what to believe, and you should feel free to be hung up on the single passage in the entire bible that makes any reference to men wearing women's clothes. Of course, if one is to take that passage and live one's life by it, one should also be prepared to stone their entire family to death should they attempt to follow a different religion, or one's sons if they are constantly disobedient.

I ahve found that the same types of material that womens cothing is mae of can also be foun for men in an mens style. The difference for me is the fit. being a smaller down there guy that enjoys the feel of lace and silk womens underwear fit snuggly and rub comfotably and keep cooler. I am not sure your have to wear womens and it it is a matter of faith err on the right side and buy menswear that closely fits the description!
I can't believe I am here even thinking about men in lingere but....First I don't think wearing womens underwear is a sin unless of course they cause you to get exc ited so much so that you have uncontrollable desires.
It depends on what the lingerie is made from, of course. According to Deuteronomy 22:11 "Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woolen and linen together." However, Deuteronomy 22:12 says "Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself" which sounds like an encouragement to wear frills to me.

as long as we're quoting the bibel (I hoped I spelled that right) lets not forget the best one, " let ye with out sin cast the first stone" what I'm trying to say is they say that at least 50% of men in the u.s. crossdress and stats say it could be higher. So, if someone gives you a line of s_ _ t you have to wounder if they arn't really enevying you?
I have a BS degree in the Bible. There is one aspect of Biblical interpretation that is grossly overlooked. When interpreting the Bible, one must look at the customs of the times. The custom of this particular Biblical era was that men often wore woman's clothing to get out of doing men's work. This was looked upon as being a sin. The Apostle Paul said that what is sin for one person, is not sin for another.

Well I have studied it and all that is under the old testement. And the Duteromony is also called moses law. The reasons for all that was first it stopped men from going into the womans temple and women going into the mens temple but you have read the deu farther. As pusspuss saysgetting out of men's work or having to go to war. But all that is a history lesson the new Testement is what you should follow. If you read the Whole Deuteromony there are things in that that if you follow it to the letter you could not survive in todays world. And wearing lingere is not a sin unless you do some thing Illegal. (I.E rob a bank commit murder ETC) ANd yes i'm a CD and go out dressed this way dress and all.
Wearing panties or bras or similiar is definitely not a sin. If u see it more abstract they are just cloths anyways. Cloths with a meaning to us.

I believe that this question falls under the category of Carnal desires. It is the purpose and the intent of the person to indulge in sexual immorality that causes one to fall into serious transgression which at first glance appears harmless, but indeed is a dangerous trap set by the adversary. I believe that Paul said "to be carnally minded is death." I would interpret that to mean a spiritual death.

I have a very strong relationship with my God and my Wife. We believe the clothing issues in the bible to be based in Spiritual values. In this observation you will see that to be woman is to be susceptible to influence from the liar or the enemy of God. Thus to be dressed in women's clothing is to become weak of Spirit. On the flip side the man is seen to be susceptible to temptation so to be dressed in men's clothing is to be a follower of the whims of others. It is best to be dressed in the white robes that is the clothing of purity given by Jesus when the believer accepts His presence in the heart of the believer.

I am 24 male. I was very obese and right now reduced almost about 60 pounds in 4 months.
But the nasty things on chest did not reduce and in fact it is just like women's chest...!

I cannot afford to undergo surgery suggested by the doctor i have visited.
Now there is no choice for me to wear a bra that would hide my breast from not bouncing.
Now once i wore bra i have started to enjoy. Right now I own

For me wearing a bra is a necessity not sin because i am enjoying to wear those. My girlfriend I go to shop for them regularly.
clothing. i am now fully dependent upon daily wearing of womens underwear. i wear bras,panties with thigh high nylon,s and ladies slip-on shoes. i have 34 pair of womens shoes that i wear. i no longer have a single pair of mens shoes at all. i am also wearing an indwelling catheter for sexual relief. please don,t get hung up as i have where you can,t control your life anymore. i am now forcing myopia upon myself by wearing glasses too strong for me. i have destroyed most of my vision by doing this and am now dependent on thick glasses. be careful what you start, you may live to regret your decision to satisfy your sexual desires by these methoeds.

My Bible professor. explained the biblical ban on wearing the clothing of the opposite gender as a ban on attempting to pass one's-self off as the opposite gender. This is why I don't consider wearing panties as cross-dressing. Cross-dressing would be for me to wear the entire woman's outfit, wig and makeup to make people think I am a woman. My Bible prof. also pointed out that woman's and men's clothing styles were different then in that culture as they are now: men's clothing styles back then would be considered a dress in today's western culture (men wearing "dresses", that is robes, has survived up to today in the attire for clergy and academics). This means that the Bible has no ban on men wearing panties, or other lingerie articles so it definitely is not a sin. The sin comes from the thoughts a man may have related to wearing panties, but then the thought life can trip us up about nearly anything at any time and is no respector of what we are wearing. One final thought: the Bible also teaches about God's grace - that is, God loves us as we are no matter what we are wearing.

Obviously times change and God knew it would. It's no longer acustom to stone disobedient children nor is it acotsom to only wear clothes specifically designed for the opposite sex.

Physician heal thyself. I have given previous testimony warning that this lifestyle can become addictive and damaging to ones health. I have in the past , and still do wear articles of womens clothing on a daily basis. The desires seem to grow greater for going deeper into this lifestyle. Due to my constant experimentation, i have inflicted permanent unreversable damage to myself. I must now wear an indwelling catheter permanently and cannot function without strong thick lens glasses. I have had hearing aids for many years now so am where i have wanted to be for a very long time. I have also graduated to wearing higher heel womens shoes and boots. I longed for this type of lifestyle and now that i have it, i wish i had never started it. It is too late now, so i must live with what i have become!
I have found a very nice young lady that is really turned on by my lifestyle and is a pleasure to be with. She does take advantage of my situation but i guess i really deserve it for what i have done to myself. I just wanted to report that it has been over one month since i have gone fully feminine and the feeling is great! To help me adjust to my new surroundings, my gynecologist has me permanently catheterized to eliminate any sexual desires and to make me fully incontinent. We have discussed proceedures for making me permanently sterile and will persue these along the way. I have come a long way in my new life and am fully convinced i need to go all the way in my conversion. I will never be able to bear children, but will have all the feminine benefits i have so long desirediin my life. To any one considering this lifestyle please think it over carefully as your life will never be as it was and your friends and family will no longer exist as it once was. If it were not for an understanding mate, my life would be most miserable.

I am pleased to help him in his transition as i know he needs the assurance i can offer to him during this time. He has worn only womens clothing for a few months now and has adapted to this lifestyle completely. I`m sure he will want to have more done to make his lifestyle become permanent. He is becoming more desirous of this and i support his decision but don`t want to push him too fast. He has adapted well to permanent catheterization but still has desires . We will work with our doctor to pursue any additional treatment that will keep him happy. I look forward to helping as much as i can as i want to keep him in this condition permanently! I await the day when i have my perfect girl.
