I think I said I wasn't going to do this anymore, but you know, old habits die hard. And I can do what I want, it's the Internet! I make the rules! Mwa haha ha ha! (I think I made it at least a week without one of these articles.) Anyways, I was recently looking at men wearing cowboy hats and pondering just how very flattering cowboy hats are on guys and girls. There's just something about covering the forehead and having stiff fabric brimming out at right angles about the head that really compliments the average human face.
You know what else looks good both on males and females? Long skirts. I know long skirts aren't in right now with the young folk who insist on flaunting their toned bodies (as the age of thirty looms ever closer, I realize now just how damn good looking we all were seven or so years ago. Don't waste your early twenties kids, you ain't ever getting them back. On the plus side, by the time you get to your late twenties, you'll be much less of an idiot. Also, get an STD check. That's all the advice I have for you right now, take it to heart.)
Anyway, long skirts don't spend all that much time in the public eye aside from when celebrities get dressed up and go tell each other how wonderful they are in special awards shows that everyone laps up. I wish there were special awards shows for semi reclusive Internet writers where we could all lick one another. That's what celebrities are doing there in the VIP room you know.
I digress again. Long skirts look awesome, especially if they are A line skirts that allow for something of a majestic sweep. Not so much of a majestic sweep that you trip over yourself, but enough of a majestic sweep that there is a continuously sinuously moving triangle of fabric dancing its way through the room when you walk. The fabric would need to be fairly stiff, something cotton or linen, they're pretty much the same thing, but one of them will wrinkle spontaneously if you look at it and require 5 hours with an industrial iron to fix it. (In case you're not familiar with these fabrics, I'm referring to linen.)
Team a long skirt with a cowboy hat and 5 o'clock shadow on a man, and I reckon you've got yourself a winner.

Manly men don't wear skirts! Exception: Kilts are okay for Scotsmen. But a cowboy wouldn't be caught dead in a skirt.

You are so right Hope, watching the movement of a skirt on women as they walked by made me want some of my own. So I got several. OK, maybe six or eight. Sadly, I have to think about how I walk to get the movement in the skirt that most women get naturally. But I still enjoy them.
Good to see you writing again. Now continue to ease up a bit and maybe you won't burn out. After all, one post from you a week is better than none. :)
Hi Hope: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I am glad you have decided to continue on writing hubs relevent to the men and boys wearing womens clothes. I enjoyed these articles and as you recalled, I read and commented on many of your hubs about men wearing the bras and panties, etc and I do wear the bras and the panties. I think it's interesting to see men in skirts. I never seen any of that so far, but it's interesting. Maybe, this year, 2010, you could still do hubs on men wearing womens clothes but maybe do one or two hubs a month on this topic and maybe do hubs on men
getting manicures/pedicures and wearing nail polish. I do get manicures/pedicures and wear nail polish and get nail designs too and I also wear earrings. Perhaps do hubs on these topics more. I do enjoy all your hubs on men wearing bras and panties. Maybe for 2010 resolution, write fewer hubs on this, but still write hubs about men wearing womens clothes like skirts and bras/panties, but only two per month at the most on men in womens clothing like bras and panties, etc. As with men in skirts, It sounds interesting and if you know any men that do that, let me know.
