Sporty Stealth Bras For Men

Updated on October 16, 2009

Bras are fun, bras are lovely, but bras are also much harder to get away with than panties. If you intend on wearing a brassiere out in the field, and if the possibility of hostiles becoming aware of your hidden cargo is of concern to you, why not try one of these stealth bras, made tough for men who may just have to throw themselves on the ground and roll to safety through enemy fire, or dangle from the edge of a skyscraper at a moment's notice.

Women's sports bras are perfect for men who want to experience the sensation of wearing a well fitting and very supportive brassiere, without the concern that they could be discovered in hot pink lace studded with sequins.

All of these sports bras are made with microfiber, a brilliant material that provides the wearer with an incredible sensation of softness.

Moving Comfort

This brassiere demonstrates all that is right with sports bras for men. It is largely seamless, which means you won't get weird lines showing through your shirt, and it provides high levels of control for A and B cups, which should suit the majority of men right down to the ground. It is also lined with a material which wicks away sweat and keeps you feeling fresh throughout your day. The major advantage of this brassiere? You don't have to fiddle with tight closures. (Sports bra closures can be difficult because you need them to be fairly tight in order to provide support and getting into them is like trying to master one of Houdini's lesser acts.) Instead, this bra simply slips on over your head, making life easy and comfortable.

Wacoal Sports

If you want to go a little up market with your sports bra, Wacoal does much the same thing as the Moving Comfort for twice the price. What a deal! To be fair however, the Wacoal brassiere is likely to be much harder wearing, better fitting and more effective in terms of support and comfort. When it comes to lingerie, you usually get exactly what you pay for. This Wacoal sports bra also comes with adjustable, criss crossing back straps which will ramp up the support level.

Anita Light Activity

If you want to wear a sports bra, but aren't planning on heavy physical acivity and don't need the additional hardware, try a bra like the Anita Light Activity. It is designed to maintain comfort during low levels of activity and, like the other bras, boasts moisture wicking technology, perfect for men who tend to sweat more during their day. This bra is also highly comfortable for sleeping in, cushioning, supporting and holding you tight all through the night. If you are looking for a beginner's sports bra, I'd go for something along the lines of this.
